Natural Moonstone in Volcanic Rock
collected during the wee hours of the morning along the beaches of Tillamook WA. I had heard that moonstone washes up along the shore with the tides so i had to check it out. these pieces are imbedded in a mix of volcanic rock and sand and are beautiful in their natural state. This is a rather big piece of Moonstone even though it is halved. Very irridenscent in sunlight, showing hues of peach, blue, pink and cream colors.
