ruly rare, Shocked/Impact quartz from Surry County, Virginia. These pieces have Amethyst, Citrine, Rose, and Prism Quartz, Papagoite, Ajoite, Nano diamonds, and many other minerals inside them along with some unusual micro-organic material and/or organisms. These pieces were ‘shocked’(impacted) by the Chesapeake Bay meteorite by either being hit and thrown into the splatter zone, volcanic pressure or tectonic shifting. Shock/Impact causes a change in growth patterns, conductivity and overall anatomy and then continue to grow in a mutated state. These are strong stones with a lot of energy. Different lighting brings out different hues due to the variety of minerals in these specimens.
