Uvite Tourmaline in Muscovite, Albite and Smoky Quartz
Uvite tourmaline with remnants of blue and green tourmaline imbedded in Smoky Quartz, Albite and trace muscovite. The blue of this Uvite is so dark it is nearly black and has a glassy feel. In sunlight this specimens deep blue color gives off an illusion of color that appears to border on purple to black.
